Niki - Rock 'n' Ball can be controlled both in Wii™ style as well as in Retro
style.
To toggle between these two
types of control, press

Wii™ style
Hold the Wii™ Remote upright and tilt it left or right to accelerate in the
corresponding direction.
Swing the Wii™ Remote up quickly
or press
to
jump.
Hold down
to
transform Niki Ball into Niki Rock.
Release
to
change back again into Niki Ball.
Press
to display the Pause Menu.
Retro style
Hold the Wii™ Remote in a horizontal position.
Press

to
accelerate in the corresponding direction.
Press
to
jump.
Hold down
to transform Niki Ball into Niki Rock.
Release
to change back into Niki Ball.

Camera
In both types of control you can
choose among four camera modes.

Use the the "Close up, static portrait"
camera mode to fix the camera's position and use
to pull faces.

Niki bounces off the floor,
ricochets from the walls and swims in water, just like a real
ball! How far Niki jumps will depend on the take-off angle,
which in turn is determined by Niki’s speed.
Transform Niki Ball in mid-air into Niki Rock to help him fall
faster to earth, like a rock, and shorten the jump.
You can play with a friend
cooperatively. Just connect a second Wii™ Remote to do so.
